Low D and Dangerous Prostate Cancer
Vitamin D and Genes Associated with More Dangerous Prostate CancerIn a study involving 1260 men with prostate cancer, researchers found a protective effect with higher vitamin D levels in reducing the risk of more dangerous “lethal” prostate cancer.
But, this was not the case with overall prostate cancer. Researchers found a genetic link associated with lethal prostate cancer and they suggest that vitamin D levels and vitamin D affiliated genes may be associated with this more deadly form of prostate cancer.
